The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines

Ashton is getting tired of being good, of impressing her parents and playing ideal girlfriend to Sawyer Vincent. Sawyer is perfect, a regular Prince Charming, but when he leaves town for the summer, it’s his cousin Beau who catches Ashton’s eye. Beau is the sexiest guy she’s ever seen, and even though he’s dangerous, Ashton is drawn to him.

Beau loves his cousin like a brother, so the last thing he wants to do is make a move on Sawyer’s girl. Ashton is off-limits, absolutely. That’s why he does his best to keep his distance, even though he’s been in love with her forever. When Ashton wants to rekindle their childhood friendship in Sawyer’s absence, Beau knows he should say no.

Ashton and Beau don’t want to hurt Sawyer. But the more they try to stay away from each other, the more intense their urges become. It’s getting way too hard to resist....

This was one of the first books i read written by Abbi. And so was partly responsible for me becoming a little obsessed with this author.

Ok... So we will start with the negative that some readers may not take kindly to. This book involves cheating and a love triangle. Ashton is with Sawyer atthe start of the story and does persue a relationship with Beau whlist her bf is away for the summer. I am not pro cheating nor am i condoning what they did behind Sawyers back but Abbi had a way of writing this story that left me rooting for Beau from the very start.

Let me talk about Beau Vincent. I read well over 100 books in the YA genre and can tell you that Beau is in my top 5 of book boyfriends. He worshipped the very ground Ashton walked on. He encouraged her to be the person she wanted to be and not the person everyone around her expected her to be. He's seriously misunderstood and Ashton see's The real Beau.

This book gave me everything I love in one of my reads. Angst, drama and passion. I loved the twist at the end amd didnt see it coming.

Give this book a try... Its brilliant.

Jade :) xx
